Cookie Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Oreo cookies Classic Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts For coating
  • 1 cup milk or dark chocolate chips or candy melts For additional coating
  • 12 pieces lollipop sticks For assembling the pops
  • Valentine's Day sprinkles For decoration
  • red or pink candy melts Optional for drizzling

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Twist the Oreo cookies apart, keeping the cream filling on one side.
  • Insert a lollipop stick into the cream, pressing down slightly.
  • Reassemble the Oreo by placing the other half back on top and gently pressing down.
  • Place the assembled Oreo pops in the freezer for 5 minutes.
  • Melt the white chocolate chips or candy melts according to package directions.

Dipping

  • Dip each Oreo pop into the melted white chocolate, covering completely.
  • Allow excess chocolate to drip off and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Sprinkle with Valentine’s Day sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
  • Optionally, drizzle melted red or pink candy melts over the coated pops.

Setting

  • Allow the decorated pops to set at room temperature or refrigerate for faster results.

Notes

Store the Oreo pops in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
