  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Toppings

  • 1 cup chocolate frosting For spreading
  • 1 cup caramel sauce For drizzling
  • 1 cup football-shaped pretzels For decoration
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt unsalted butter in a large pot over medium heat until golden and fragrant.
  • Stir in granulated sugar, followed by the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, and salt, stirring until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.

Topping

  • Spread chocolate frosting over the cooled brownies.
  • Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  • Decorate with pretzels and chopped pecans.
