  • 0.5 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper adjust to taste
  • 0.25 cups melted butter
  • 0.25 cups grated parmesan cheese optional

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the stale bread, chopped onion, celery, and minced garlic.
  • Add the chopped parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  • Pour the vegetable broth and melted butter over the mixture and stir until evenly combined.
  • Form portions of the mixture into balls, rolling them gently in your hands.
  • Place the balls on a baking sheet, ensuring they have space to expand.

Baking

  • Bake the stuffing balls for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crisp on the outside.

Notes

These stuffing balls can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container for up to a week in the fridge or frozen for three months. Reheat in the oven or a skillet for best results.
