Ingredients

For the cake pops

  • 1 box cake mix Any desired flavor
  • 1 cup frosting Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 chocolate or candy coating For dipping
  • optional sprinkles For decoration
  • 25 lollipop sticks For assembling pops

Instructions

Preparation

  • Bake the cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
  • Crumble the cooled cake in a large bowl, breaking it into fine crumbs.
  • Mix in the frosting until the blend is moist and cohesive.
  • Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.
  • Insert lollipop sticks into each ball and freeze for about thirty minutes until firm.

Dipping and Decorating

  • Melt the chocolate or candy coating in the microwave until smooth and silky.
  • Dip each cake pop into the melted coating, allowing the excess to drip off.
  • Decorate with sprinkles or any other fun Thanksgiving decorations.
  • Allow the pops to set in the fridge before sharing.

Notes

For ultimate freshness, consider substituting your favorite cake flavor or using homemade frosting. If the coating isn’t setting properly, chill the dipped pops in the fridge for a few minutes.
