Ingredients
  

For the Pasta

  • 8 ounces pasta, such as spaghetti or fettuccine Cook according to package instructions.

For the Steak and Sauce

  • 1 pound steak, cut into bite-sized pieces Sirloin or ribeye recommended.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Or use gluten-free soy sauce if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Balances the heat.
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha Adjust to taste for spiciness.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Adds richness.
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper and add to the skillet.
  • Sear the steak for 3 to 4 minutes until browned.
  • Reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and sriracha. Pour this over the steak and stir to coat.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and serve, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. Consider marinating the steak for deeper flavor.
