Ingredients
  

For the ganache

  • 1 cup heavy cream Best if warmed
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips Use high-quality for better flavor
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract To enhance flavor

For mixing

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped Remove any stems or leaves
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder For coating

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and set them on your countertop.

Making the Ganache

  • In a medium-sized saucepan, gently heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to soften simmer. Stir occasionally.
  • Remove from heat when you see bubbles forming around the edges.
  • Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and stir until smooth and glossy.

Mixing Ingredients

  • Chop the fresh strawberries into small pieces and fold into the chocolate ganache.
  • Stir in the unsalted butter and vanilla extract.

Shaping the Truffles

  • Allow the ganache to rest in the refrigerator for about one hour.
  • Scoop small portions of the ganache and shape them into balls with your hands.

Coating

  • Roll each truffle in the cocoa powder until fully coated.
  • Place truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Setting

  • Refrigerate the truffles for at least thirty minutes to set.

Notes

Store truffles in a cool, dry place or refrigerate to maintain their texture. For longer storage, freeze in an airtight container.
