  • 1 cup 1 cup ricotta cheese Use fresh ricotta for best flavor
  • 2 cups 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced Choose ripe strawberries for optimal sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons honey For drizzling over strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze Adds a tangy flavor contrast
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, for garnish Optional, for added freshness
  • 1 pinch Salt to taste Enhances the flavors of the dish
  • 1 pinch Pepper to taste Adds a slight kick

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice the French baguette into half-inch thick pieces and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  • Toast the bread in the oven for about 5 to 7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with a pinch of salt and pepper until well combined.

Assembly

  • Spread a generous layer of ricotta on each toasted slice of bread.
  • Top each slice with freshly sliced strawberries.
  • Drizzle honey over the strawberries.
  • Add a swirl of balsamic glaze over the top.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
