Preparation

  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat until fragrant.
  • Add the mini marshmallows and stir until they are completely melted and smooth.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips until they are melted and fully combined.
  • Gently fold in the rice cereal, ensuring each piece is well coated with the luscious mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and press down evenly and firmly.
  • Allow it to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

If the mixture is too sticky while pressing it into the baking dish, grease your hands with a little butter to make the process smoother. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days.
