Preparation

  • In a saucepan, pour one cup of water and bring to a boil until it bubbles fiercely.
  • Stir in one-quarter cup of sugar until it dissolves completely and the mixture becomes fragrant.
  • Remove from the heat and mix in one package of three ounces of flavored gelatin, stirring until it completely dissolves.
  • Slowly incorporate one cup of Prosecco into the mixture, watching the bubbles create a delightful fizz.
  • Pour the mixture into shot glasses or small cups, watching the sparkling liquid fill each vessel.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of edible glitter into each shot, creating a glimmering effect.
  • Refrigerate the shots for approximately four hours or until fully set.
  • Before serving, garnish with fresh fruit for an added burst of color and texture.

Notes

These jello shots can last up to three days in the fridge when covered. You can freeze them for future enjoyment, but texture may alter upon thawing. For personal twists, try using different flavored gelatins or adding citrus juice.
