Ingredients
  

For the fudge

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 ounces unsalted butter Melt before mixing.
  • 1/3 cup melted vanilla ice cream Allow to cool slightly before adding.
  • 1 cup Ghirardelli green chips Can substitute with white chocolate chips for variation.

For decoration

  • shamrock sprinkles Optional, for festive touch.

Cooking

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the granulated sugar and unsalted butter, stirring until melted and glossy.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the melted vanilla ice cream until well combined.
  • Fold in the Ghirardelli green chips until melted and fully incorporated.
  • Pour the fudge mixture into a lined 8x8 inch pan and spread into an even layer.
  • Sprinkle shamrock sprinkles on top, if desired.
  • Allow the fudge to cool and set at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
  • Once solidified, cut into squares and enjoy.

Notes

Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to one week, or refrigerate for up to two weeks. Fudge can be frozen for up to three months.
