Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the milk and vegetable oil.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the crumbled sausage, shredded cheese, and chopped green onions.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently until smooth and elastic.
  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle and cut it into strips.
  • Roll each strip into a spiral shape and place on a greased baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  • Allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, brush the rolls with melted butter after baking. You can also experiment with different cheeses or add herbs for variation.
