Ingredients
  

For the cheese mixture

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Allow to warm to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing mix

For coating and decoration

  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (e.g., pecans or walnuts) For rolling the cheese ball.
  • to taste raisins or chocolate chips For eyes.
  • 1 red bell pepper Cut into a piece for the nose.
  • a few pretzel sticks For antlers.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Soften the cream cheese to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and ranch dressing mix. Mix until smooth.
  • Shape the cheese mixture into a ball.
  • Roll the shaped ball in chopped nuts until coated.
  • Transfer to a serving platter and decorate to resemble a reindeer using raisins for eyes, red bell pepper for nose, and pretzel sticks for antlers.

Serving

  • Serve with crackers or vegetable dippers.

Notes

If the cheese ball is too soft, refrigerate for about thirty minutes before assembling to help it hold its shape.
