  • 1 block cream cheese, softened Ensure it is completely softened for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup marinara sauce Choose your favorite brand or homemade.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Reserve some for topping.
  • 1 cup diced pepperoni For a lighter option, use turkey pepperoni.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the marinara sauce until smooth.
  • Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese, mixing well to combine.
  • Add the diced pepperoni and mix to distribute evenly.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and smooth the top.
  • Sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese on top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.

Serving

  • Serve warm with your choice of crunchy crackers, toasted bread, or sliced vegetables.

Notes

If the dip is too thick, add a splash of marinara sauce to loosen it. Store leftovers for up to three days in the refrigerator.
