  • 3 large eggs large size
  • 1.5 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice blend
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt

Crust

  • 1 prepared nine-inch pie shell ensure it's pre-baked slightly for best results

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat three large eggs until well combined.
  • Add one can of pumpkin puree and one can of sweetened condensed milk to the bowl.
  • Mix in one and a half tablespoons of pumpkin pie spice blend.
  • Stir in one tablespoon of pure vanilla extract and three-quarters teaspoon of salt.
  • Whisk the mixture until smooth and creamy.

Baking

  • Pour the filling into the prepared pie shell and gently tap the shell to release any air bubbles.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the filling is set but slightly jiggly in the center.

Cooling and Serving

  • Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing.
  • Serve with whipped cream, caramel sauce, or nuts as desired.

Notes

To prevent the crust from browning too quickly, cover the edges with foil during baking. For variations, consider using coconut milk instead of sweetened condensed milk for a healthier option.
