  • 1 package package of crushed Oreos For the base of the truffles
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese Must be softened for mixing
  • 1 cup chocolate chips For coating the truffles
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate For decoration

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese until smooth and well blended.
  • Roll the mixture into small football-shaped balls.

Coating

  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each ball in the melted chocolate until fully coated, then place on a tray lined with wax paper.
  • Melt the white chocolate and use it to create laces on each football truffle.

Setting

  • Refrigerate the truffles until firm.

Notes

Store at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, refrigerate for 5-7 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Let thaw in the fridge before serving.
