Main Ingredients

  • 25 pieces Oreo cookies Use fresh Oreos for best flavor.
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping Not frozen.
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup sweet salted butter Sliced.

Garnish

  • 8 pieces Oreo cookies Chopped for topping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Arrange 25 Oreo cookies in a single layer in the prepared dish.

Assembly

  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cookies.
  • Spread the whipped topping over the cookie layer.
  • Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the whipped topping.
  • Slice the butter and arrange the pieces on top of the cake mix.
  • Chop 8 Oreos and sprinkle them over the top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Serving

  • Serve warm, topped with a scoop of ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

Notes

Store covered at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 4 days. You can freeze portions for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator and reheat in the microwave before serving.
