Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 package regular Oreo cookies (about thirty-six cookies)
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened Using full-fat cream cheese is recommended for better texture.
  • 1 pound vanilla-flavored candy coating, melted You can substitute with dark chocolate coating for a richer flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Place the package of regular Oreo cookies in a sturdy freezer-safe bag and crush them into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or a food processor.
  • Transfer the crumbled cookies to a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the softened cream cheese to the bowl and mix until well combined and creamy.
  • Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Freeze the tray with the rolled balls for about 20-30 minutes until they firm up slightly.

Coating

  • Prepare the melted vanilla candy coating. Dip the chilled balls into the coating using a fork or a toothpick.
  • Allow any excess coating to drip off as you place the coated balls on wax or parchment paper.
  • Optionally, sprinkle with crushed Oreos or sprinkles before the coating sets.

Setting

  • Let the coated balls set in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes until fully firm before serving.

Notes
