Preparation

  • Place the Oreo cookies in a sturdy plastic bag and crush them into fine crumbs.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and mix until fully blended and creamy.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of a tablespoon, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Dipping

  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave until it is smooth and glossy.
  • Dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, coating it fully, then let any excess chocolate drip off.
  • Place the chocolate-covered balls back on the baking sheet, smoothing any imperfections.

Setting

  • Refrigerate the balls for approximately 20 minutes until the chocolate is fully set.
  • Enjoy immediately or store for later.

Notes

Store un-dipped Oreo balls in the refrigerator for up to one week. They can also be frozen for up to three months. Consider rolling in crushed candy canes or nuts for extra flavor and texture.
