  • 8 ounces pasta such as fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons butter for sautéing
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese for creaminess
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • freshly chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in the milk and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the pasta is cooked, reduce heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

If the sauce is too thick, add a splash more milk to reach desired consistency.
