Preparation

  • Crush the Mint Oreo cookies in a food processor until they are fine crumbs, or place them in a sealed bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and stir until smooth.
  • Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Chilling

  • Refrigerate the rolled truffles for at least 30 minutes or freeze for 15 minutes, to firm them up.

Coating

  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring even coverage, then place back on parchment paper.

Decoration

  • Sprinkle the tops with decorations like sprinkles or crushed Oreos before the chocolate sets.
  • Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days, or in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can be frozen for up to three months.
