  • 1 tsp Peppermint extract
  • 1 dash Green food coloring Adjust to your preference for color intensity.
  • 1/4 cup Mint candies, crushed Feel free to substitute with different types of mint candies.
  • 1/4 cup White chocolate, chopped Make sure not to overheat when melting.

Preparation

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water until smooth and fragrant.
  • Stir in the peppermint extract and green food coloring until well combined.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly, creating a lovely layer.

Topping

  • Sprinkle the crushed mint candies over the chocolate while still warm, allowing them to nestle into the surface.
  • Melt the white chocolate and drizzle it over the top of the bark, creating a beautiful pattern.

Setting

  • Chill the bark in the refrigerator until set, usually for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Once set, break the bark into pieces to serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For longer storage, refrigerate or freeze as needed.
