Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  • In another bowl, whisk together the cake flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed butter mixture, alternating with whole milk.
  • Pour the batter into greased mini cake pans until three-quarters full.

Baking

  • Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  • Cool in pans for a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes
