Ingredients
  

For the Mini Quiches

  • 12 units eggs Large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a rich custard-like texture
  • 1 tsp salt To taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper Freshly cracked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For flavor and richness
  • 1 handful fresh herbs Chopped chives and parsley recommended
  • 2 sheets store-bought puff pastry Rolled out for pastry cups

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Whisk together the eggs in a large mixing bowl until frothy.
  • Add the heavy cream and mix until combined.
  • Season the mixture with salt and black pepper.
  • Fold in chopped herbs and shredded cheddar cheese.

Assembling the Quiches

  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  • Cut circles and press them into a muffin tin.
  • Fill each pastry cup with the egg mixture, about three-quarters full.

Baking

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 25 minutes until golden.
  • Cool slightly, then sprinkle with fresh herbs.

Serving

  • Arrange the mini quiches on a vibrant platter and enjoy.

Notes

If quiches puff too high during baking, lower the oven temperature slightly for future batches. Pair with a refreshing fruit salad or a cheese fondue for a great gathering experience.
