Preparation

  • Soften one eight-ounce block of cream cheese in a bowl until creamy.
  • Sprinkle in one packet of ranch seasoning and mix until well integrated and aromatic.
  • Chop five strips of cooked bacon into tiny bits.
  • Add bacon and one tablespoon of freshly chopped herbs like parsley to the cheeseball mixture, folding gently.
  • Mold the mixture into twelve mini balls, rolling them until perfectly round and smooth.
  • Place the cheeseballs on a lined baking sheet or plate and refrigerate until firm.
  • After approximately thirty minutes, the cheeseballs will be set and ready to serve.
  • Present them on a platter with an assortment of colorful veggies or assorted crackers.
  • For additional flair, drizzle with a touch of balsamic glaze for a flavor contrast.

Notes

To keep cheeseballs fresh, cover tightly with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to one week. For longer storage, freeze for 1-2 months and thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
