Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Cook chicken in the skillet for about 6 to 7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Final Steps

  • Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the creamy sauce.
  • Simmer for an additional 3 to 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of chicken broth to loosen it.
