  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Binding Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, thaw the package of frozen hashbrowns for about 10 minutes.
  • Break apart the hashbrowns into smaller, bite-sized pieces.
  • Add the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon to the bowl.
  • Sprinkle in onion powder, garlic powder, dried parsley, black pepper, and salt.

Mixing

  • In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard.
  • Stir these creamy ingredients together until smooth.
  • Pour this mixture over the hashbrowns and bacon, stirring until well-combined.

Baking

  • Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Scoop out small portions of the mixture, shaping them into balls and placing them on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  • Allow the bites to cool for a few moments before serving.

Notes

These bites pair beautifully with ranch or barbecue sauce. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
