Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine the cubed beef, minced garlic, and halved baby potatoes in a spacious slow cooker.
  • Soften the unsalted butter until creamy and pour it over the mixture.
  • Stir to ensure all ingredients are well combined and coated with the butter.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6 to 7 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Cook until the beef is fork-tender and the potatoes are cooked through.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider adding Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce, and optionally, a cup of diced carrots or parsnips. For a creamy version, add heavy cream at the end of cooking.
