- 1 slice fresh ginger root about ¼ inch thick
- ½ teaspoon dried fennel seeds
- 1 cinnamon stick or ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup filtered hot water about 200°F / 93°C
Boil filtered water and allow it to cool slightly (to ~200°F).
In a teapot or mug, add peppermint, ginger, fennel, and cinnamon.
Pour hot water over the herbs.
