  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Maple syrup can be used for a vegan option.
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder Unsweetened cocoa powder recommended.
  • 1/2 cup oats Quick oats or rolled oats can be used.
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips Use dairy-free for vegan option.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients including peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, cocoa powder, oats, salt, and vanilla.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey or syrup, cocoa powder, oats, salt, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  • If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
  • Prepare an 8x8 inch baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  • Press the peanut butter blend evenly into the dish, making sure it's compact.

Setting

  • Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours until set.
  • Once set, cut into neat squares.

Notes

For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunbutter. Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, refrigerated for longer freshness, or freeze for up to three months.
