  • 1 package Oreo cookies Crushed into fine crumbs
  • 8 ounces cream cheese Softened
  • a few drops green food coloring To achieve desired color
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips For coating
  • 1 cup red candy melts For decoration

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  • In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese until well combined and creamy.
  • Add a few drops of green food coloring to the mixture and stir until the desired vibrant color is achieved.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Freeze the truffles for about thirty minutes to firm them up.

Coating

  • Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth and glossy, stirring regularly.
  • Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, coating them evenly, and return to the baking sheet.
  • Melt the red candy melts and drizzle them over the truffles for a festive decoration.

Finishing

  • Let the chocolate set at room temperature before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about two days, or refrigerate for up to a week. Freezing extends shelf life to three months.
