Ingredients
  

For the Broth

  • 4 cups chicken or pork broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

For the Noodles

  • 200 grams ramen noodles

Toppings

  • to taste sliced pork belly
  • 2 pieces boiled eggs, halved
  • to taste sliced green onions
  • to taste sheets of nori
  • to taste crisp bean sprouts

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pour four cups of chicken or pork broth into a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add two tablespoons of soy sauce, one tablespoon of miso paste, and one tablespoon of sesame oil.
  • Bring the pot to a gentle simmer.

Cooking

  • Cook two hundred grams of ramen noodles according to the package instructions until tender.
  • Divide the cooked noodles among warm bowls.
  • Ladle the simmering broth over the noodles.
  • Add your preferred toppings such as slices of pork belly, halved boiled eggs, freshly sliced green onions, sheets of nori, and a handful of bean sprouts.

Notes

If your broth is too salty, add more water or broth to adjust.
