  • 1 pound ground beef Choose quality ground beef for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup garlic butter Provides rich buttery flavor.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or your choice of cheese.
  • 1 package crescent roll dough Use according to package instructions.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven according to crescent roll package instructions.
  • In a skillet, add one pound of ground beef over medium heat and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir in a quarter cup of garlic butter until melted and bubbling.
  • Roll out the package of crescent roll dough on a clean surface and cut into triangles.
  • On each triangle, place a spoonful of the beef mixture and top with half a cup of cheese.
  • Roll up each triangle tightly, tucking in the filling.

Cooking

  • Transfer the rolled-up creations onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake according to package instructions until golden brown.

Notes

If rollups seem soggy, allow them to cool slightly before serving. Add spices like smoked paprika for extra flavor. For lighter options, use ground turkey or chicken.
