  • 3.5 cups ice
  • 2 cups milk Whole or almond milk recommended
  • 4 packets hot cocoa mix
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • whipped cream whipped cream for topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the glass cups in the freezer to chill.
  • In a blender, add 3.5 cups of ice.
  • Pour in 2 cups of milk, followed by 4 packets of hot cocoa mix.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup into the mix.
  • Measure out 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and pour it into the blender.
  • Blend the mixture until the ice is completely crushed and everything is well combined.
  • Remove the chilled cups from the freezer.
  • Carefully pour the frozen hot chocolate into each cup.
  • Top each glass with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  • Drizzle additional chocolate syrup over the whipped cream if desired.

Notes

For a thicker consistency, add more ice; for a thinner consistency, add more milk. Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to two days or freeze for longer storage.
