  • 0.5 cup marinara sauce Feel free to swap for a different sauce like pesto.
  • 6-8 slices mozzarella cheese Perfect melting cheese for pizza.
  • 12-18 slices pepperoni Traditional topping; can substitute with veggies or other proteins.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Lightly grease a muffin tin.
  • Open the can of pizza dough and unroll it onto a clean counter.
  • Slice the dough into six long strips about 1 to 2 inches wide.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce across each strip, leaving a small border along the edges.
  • Cut slices of mozzarella cheese that will fit along the length of the dough and layer them over the marinara.
  • Arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese, allowing half of each slice to hang over the edge.

Assembly and Baking

  • Carefully roll each dough strip into a tight spiral to create roses.
  • Nestle each rolled pizza rose into the greased muffin tin.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Let the pizza roses cool slightly before serving and optionally sprinkle with fresh basil or drizzle with olive oil.
