Cooking Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  • Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, ensuring even coating.
  • Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest.

Cooking Noodles

  • In the same skillet, add 3 cups of water and bring to a boil.
  • Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain any excess water and return noodles to the skillet.
  • Stir in butter until it melts and combines with the noodles.

Assembly

  • Slice the rested chicken and serve it atop the buttery noodles.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. You can substitute chicken with turkey or mushrooms for a vegetarian option. Pair with roasted vegetables or salad.
