Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Vibrant and fresh
  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For creaminess

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot.
  • Add the broccoli florets and rice over the chicken.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the broth mixture over the chicken, broccoli, and rice.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken in the pot and mix everything together.

Notes

For maximum flavor, consider searing the chicken before adding it to the crockpot. You can also mix in different vegetables or substitute chicken with firm tofu for a vegetarian option.
