Cooking

  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, approximately two to three minutes per side, flipping gently.
  • Reduce the heat to low before pouring in the heavy cream, swirling to combine and let it simmer for about five minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed for flavor.

Finishing Touch

  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, showcasing a burst of green.
  • Serve with lemon wedges if desired, adding brightness to the creamy dish.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness. Reheat gently on low heat, preferably with a bit of cream added to restore its lovely texture. If the sauce seems too thin, allow it to simmer longer or whisk in cornstarch dissolved in water.
