  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean ground beef for the best flavor.
  • 24 ounces pasta sauce Choose your favorite brand or homemade.
  • 0.5 teaspoons garlic powder Adjust based on taste preference.
  • 0.5 teaspoons Italian seasoning Can substitute with fresh herbs if available.

For the Layers

  • 25 ounces frozen cheese ravioli Keep frozen until ready to layer.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Opt for high-quality cheese for the best taste.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to mix cheeses for variety.
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese For extra flavor on top.

Preparation

  • Brown one pound of ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked and no longer pink.
  • Drain any excess fat and return the beef to the skillet.
  • Stir in 24 ounces of pasta sauce along with 0.5 teaspoons of garlic powder and 0.5 teaspoons of Italian seasoning until well blended.
  • Allow the sauce to simmer for five minutes.

Layering and Cooking

  • Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce at the bottom of a greased slow cooker.
  • Layer half of the frozen cheese ravioli over the sauce.
  • Top with half of the remaining meat sauce and half of each cheese.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, meat sauce, and cheeses.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.

Notes

If the lasagna seems too dry after cooking, add a splash of broth before serving. Experiment with seasonal vegetables for added freshness.
