  • 2 pounds chicken breasts Can use cooked or raw chicken.
  • 3/4 cup buffalo sauce Use high quality for better flavor.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese Softened.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Sharp cheddar is recommended.
  • 1 cup sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
  • 1 clove minced garlic For aromatic flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Grease the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Lay the chicken breasts into the pot, ensuring they lie flat.
  • Drizzle the buffalo sauce over the chicken.
  • Slice the cream cheese and place it atop the chicken.
  • Add the shredded cheddar cheese evenly across the top.
  • Spoon in the sour cream.
  • Incorporate the minced garlic.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low heat for about 4 to 6 hours.
  • Once the chicken is tender, shred it with a fork directly in the crockpot.
  • Stir thoroughly until everything is combined.

Notes

If the dip is too thick, add a splash of milk or extra sour cream. If too runny, continue cooking with the lid off to evaporate excess liquid.
