  • 2 pounds frozen meatballs Fresh or homemade meatballs can also be used.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Choose your favorite BBQ sauce for best flavor.
  • 1/3 cup grape jelly Provides sweetness to balance the BBQ sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper To taste.

Preparation

  • Prepare your crockpot, ensuring it is clean and ready for action.
  • Lay the frozen meatballs in the bottom of your crockpot, spreading them out evenly.

Mixing the Sauce

  • In a mixing bowl, combine BBQ sauce, grape jelly, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper.
  • Stir until well blended.

Cooking

  • Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs in the crockpot, ensuring each meatball is coated.
  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  • Occasionally stir to ensure even coating and cooking.

Serving

  • Once cooked, the meatballs should be heated through and bursting with flavor.
  • Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

To enhance flavor, consider searing meatballs before cooking or adding hot sauce for a kick. For meal prep, make a large batch at the start of the week.
