  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce
  • quantity tater tots As needed for topping.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • as desired fresh parsley For garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked shredded chicken and Alfredo sauce until well coated.
  • Grease a baking dish with a light coat of oil and spread the chicken mixture evenly across the bottom.
  • Top with tater tots, arranging them in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the tater tots.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Baking

  • Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a creamier texture, add a splash of heavy cream to the Alfredo sauce. For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with sautéed vegetables.
