  • 1 cup corn canned or frozen
  • 1 cup cooked bacon chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1-2 jalapenos diced to desired spice level
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or cheese blend
  • 1/2 cup sour cream adds tanginess
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

For Serving

  • 1 bag tortilla chips for dipping

Preparation

  • Begin by combining the cream cheese and corn in the slow cooker.
  • Add the chopped bacon to the mixture and stir gently.
  • Sprinkle in the diced jalapenos to reach desired spice level.
  • Toss in the shredded cheese, mixing it into the creamy base.
  • Add the sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and mix well.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Stir occasionally until creamy.

Serving

  • Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

For a smoother dip, add a splash of water or milk as needed. This dip can also be made ahead of time and reheated.
