Cookie Dough Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Packed brown sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Crushed cookies (such as Oreos)
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and packed brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until well combined.
  • Fold in the crushed cookies and chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
  • Allow to cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients. Chill dough for at least 30 minutes for thicker cookies that hold their shape better.
