For the cookie dough

  • 1/2 cup softened butter Make sure the butter is softened for a creamy texture.
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups heat-treated all-purpose flour Ensure flour is heat-treated to avoid foodborne illnesses.
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

For coating

  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips or chunks Melted for dipping.
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil Helps in melting the chocolate smoothly.

For assembly

  • 40 pieces pretzels Approximately for sandwiching cookie dough.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the butter until just warm.
  • Blend in brown sugar until creamy.
  • Add milk and vanilla extract, stirring to combine.
  • Gradually mix in heat-treated flour until a soft dough forms.
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  • Place the dough in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  • After freezing, scoop dough and roll into half-inch balls.
  • Arrange cookie dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Assembly

  • Place two pretzels side by side.
  • Sandwich each cookie dough ball between the pretzels.

Chocolate Coating

  • In another microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with vegetable oil in intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each pretzel sandwich halfway into the chocolate and let excess drip off.

Finalizing

  • Transfer to the fridge or freezer to solidify.
