  • 1/4 cup buttermilk Add more if the mixture is too thick.
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix Includes a blend of herbs and spices.

For the flavor and heat

  • 1-2 fresh jalapeños, seeded and chopped Adjust quantity based on your heat preference.
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped Enhances the freshness of the dressing.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds aromatic depth to the flavor.
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice Balances the richness.
  • salt and black pepper, to taste Adjust to enhance flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and buttermilk in a blender or food processor.
  • Add ranch dressing mix and blend until smooth.
  • Incorporate jalapeños, cilantro, garlic, and lime juice into the mixture.
  • Blend until smooth. If too thick, add a splash more buttermilk.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Chill

  • Transfer the mixture into a bowl or jar, cover, and refrigerate for at least one hour to meld flavors.

Notes

Use the freshest ingredients for the best flavor. This dip can be adapted for dietary preferences and the heat level can be adjusted by altering the amount of jalapeños used.
