Preparation

  • Preheat the oven according to the brownie mix instructions.
  • Prepare the brownie mix according to the package directions, mixing until smooth and shiny.
  • Pour the batter into heart-shaped molds, filling them two-thirds of the way full.

Baking

  • Bake according to the time indicated on the brownie mix box, watching until they have risen and the tops are crusted.
  • Let the brownies cool completely in the molds.

Dipping

  • Melt the chocolate in a bowl over low heat, stirring until silky and smooth.
  • Dip the cooled brownies into the chocolate, allowing excess to drip away.
  • Let the dipped brownies set on a cooling rack until the chocolate hardens.
