Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries Hulled and halved

Chocolate Ganache

  • 8 ounces chocolate Chopped, for ganache
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream Heated until simmering

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a brownie pan.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter and stir in the sugar until combined.
  • Remove the pan from heat and let it cool slightly before adding the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, folding until just combined.
  • Fold in the hulled and halved strawberries.

Baking

  • Pour the brownie batter into the greased pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Making Ganache

  • While the brownies cool, heat the heavy cream until it simmers, then pour it over the chopped chocolate.
  • Stir gently until the chocolate melts into a glossy ganache.

Finishing

  • Once the brownies are completely cool, pour the ganache over them and spread it evenly.
  • Let the chocolate set before slicing into squares and serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider adding espresso powder to the brownie batter. If you'd like a dairy-free version, use coconut oil and dairy-free chocolate.
