Ingredients
  

For the Chocolate Coating

  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup nut butter Can substitute with sunflower seed butter.

For the Acorns

  • 2 cups pretzel pieces Crispy texture adds crunch.
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans Can use any preferred nut.
  • 0.5 cup toffee bits Adds sweetness and texture.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all the ingredients and prepare your workspace.
  • In a heatproof bowl, melt the semisweet chocolate chips over simmering water, stirring until completely smooth.
  • Remove the bowl from heat and mix in the nut butter until fully combined.

Assembly

  • Add the crushed pretzel pieces to the chocolate mixture, stirring gently until fully coated.
  • Using a spoon or your hands, shape the mixture into small acorn-sized balls and place them on parchment paper.
  • Dip the bottom of each acorn into the remaining chocolate, then sprinkle the tops with toffee bits and nuts.
  • Transfer the adorned acorns back to the parchment.

Cooling

  • Let the acorns cool at room temperature until the chocolate is set, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • If desired, place them in the refrigerator to cool faster.

Notes
