Preparation

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
  • Cook the rigatoni pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.

Cooking the Steak

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Add the Cajun-seasoned steak tips and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until browned.
  • Reduce heat to low and add heavy cream, stirring gently.
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  • Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet and toss until coated with sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve the dish hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta cooking water to loosen it. Great for quick weeknight dinners, it pairs well with a crisp salad or garlic bread.
