  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 each hamburger buns Can add toppings like pickles, cheese, or hot sauce.

Preparation

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic until soft and fragrant.
  • Add ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  • Stir in Cajun seasoning, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring to a simmer and let bubble gently for five to ten minutes until heated through and thickened.
  • Serve the delicious mixture on hamburger buns, adding optional toppings as desired.

Notes

If the dish becomes too spicy, a touch of sugar can help balance the flavors. Enhancing with fresh herbs or a splash of lemon juice can brighten the dish.
